Since they are so rare and amazing & since January 12 is International Kiss a Ginger Day, we decided we would put together a gift guide in their honor. (don’t worry if you missed the holiday -you can get her these any time of year!)
We’ve got the inside scoop just for you – we asked 3 of our favorite ginger friends (& they answered!) to give you a firsthand look at gifts they’d like to receive. Then we rounded out the list with 18 more gift ideas (all redhead approved, of course) to give you some help and insight into their gingery world!

The Redhead Files
First up is Anna, school counselor extraordinaire, lifelong redhead. Here’s what she had to say about gifts for redheads:
Thanks, Anna! We looked for some things that might fit her picks & came up with these:
Ulta Beauty gift card. Let her pick out her favorite haircare & skincare products at Ulta or at Sephora.
Green chunky sweater. We agree, Anna – this one has a great, flattering fit! If she likes cardigans, here’s an olive shade that is a great option as well.
Our next redheaded interviewee is Heather, amazing esthetician. She knows her stuff & gave some us interesting redhead insights!

Visa gift card. She can use this to get her eyelashes tinted at whatever spa or beauty salon her heart desires. Eyelash tinting varies in cost (depending on salons), but it’s usually somewhere around $25-$35 per tinting.
Eyelash décor. Eyelash décor is really popular right now, and this instant downloadable art would be very cute for her office or desk. Every girl loves to have beautiful eyelashes. Quick Tip: Be sure to check out our post for printing instant downloadable art here.

Confessions of a Shopaholic inspired scarf. We can’t believe it, but we located a scarf like Isla Fisher’s. What?! This is an “investment piece“, so it’s definitely splurge-worthy!
Aviator sunglasses. Redheads with blue or green eyes can be extra-sensitive to light. According to prevention.com, sunglasses should be polarized and have UV protection, so make sure to pick some that have both of those attributes. These glasses are popular in pink, but the gold are great as well.
Someone to follow me around with a giant umbrella when I’m out in the sun! Hmmmm….this might be the first time we couldn’t grant a wish. Amazon doesn’t seem to carry this one – sorry, Bess! 😉
